Age Assurance, Online Safety & Content Compliance Standard

1. Purpose and Scope

This Standard explains the measures X-Stream Cams uses to support age assurance, online safety, content compliance and protection against illegal content.

It applies to relevant platform users, creators, performers, content, live streams and associated services.

2. Adults-Only Access

X-Stream Cams is not intended for children. Access to pornographic content is restricted to users who have completed the required age assurance process.

Age assurance measures are designed to help prevent children from accessing age-restricted content.

3. Highly Effective Age Assurance

For UK users where applicable, X-Stream Cams aims to use highly effective age assurance measures designed to meet applicable requirements under the Online Safety Act 2023 and relevant Ofcom guidance.

Age assurance methods are intended to be technically accurate, robust, reliable and fair.

Self-declaration alone is not considered sufficient where a highly effective age assurance method is required.

4. Creator Verification

Every creator must be verified as an adult before publishing content or participating in live streaming.

Where applicable, co-performers and other persons appearing in creator content must also satisfy required age, identity and consent verification procedures.

5. Re-Verification

X-Stream Cams may require additional verification where there is a reasonable safety, identity or compliance reason.

Potential triggers may include:

• Expired identity documents
• Account recovery
• Material changes in appearance
• Suspected account transfer
• Fraud indicators
• Safety reports
• Other relevant risk indicators

6. Illegal Content Risk Assessment

We maintain and review appropriate risk assessments concerning illegal content and online safety risks associated with the platform.

Relevant risks may include:

• Child sexual abuse material
• Grooming
• Non-consensual intimate imagery
• Sexual exploitation
• Human trafficking
• Fraud and abuse
• Illegal extreme pornography

7. Content Safety Controls

Depending on the service and operational implementation, X-Stream Cams may use a combination of preventative and responsive safety measures.

• Real-time live moderation and intervention
• Reporting tools on profiles, messages, streams and content
• Rapid escalation procedures
• Documented moderator standards
• Evidence preservation procedures
• Controls against repeat offending
• Controls against attempts to evade enforcement

8. Reporting Illegal or Harmful Content

Users can report suspected illegal content, safety concerns, consent violations and other prohibited material.

Reports involving suspected minors, child safety, exploitation, trafficking, non-consensual intimate content or other urgent risks may receive priority handling.

9. Moderation and Enforcement

Where content or conduct is identified as potentially unlawful, unsafe or contrary to platform policy, appropriate measures may be taken.

• Account suspension

• Demonetisation or earning restrictions
• Evidence preservation
• External reporting where required or appropriate

10. Moderator Standards and Escalation

Moderation personnel and relevant teams should follow documented standards for identifying, assessing and escalating safety and compliance concerns.

Serious or urgent matters may be escalated to appropriate compliance, safeguarding, legal or law-enforcement channels.

11. Evidence Preservation

Where appropriate, X-Stream Cams may preserve relevant information and records relating to suspected illegal activity, serious safety incidents, moderation decisions or regulatory requests.

Information may be disclosed to competent authorities where legally required or otherwise appropriate.

12. Records and Compliance

We may maintain records sufficient to demonstrate the operation of relevant safety and compliance measures.

These may include records relating to:

• Age assurance methods
• Verification processes
• Privacy considerations
• Illegal-content risk assessments
• Moderation procedures
• Complaints and appeals
• Significant compliance decisions

13. Privacy and Proportionality

Age assurance and safety measures should be implemented in a proportionate manner and with appropriate consideration for privacy and data protection.

Personal information collected for verification and safety purposes is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Regulatory Changes

X-Stream Cams may review applicable guidance and regulatory developments, including updates from Ofcom and the UK Government, when assessing its safety and compliance measures.

Relevant requirements may also be reviewed before significant product or service changes.

15. Complaints and Appeals

Users and affected individuals can raise complaints or challenge eligible moderation decisions through our Complaints, Content Reports & Appeals Policy .
